The Terebinth Story Archive      I don't know about "decades," there, Anson. I mean, yeah, Esther first showed up in the comic back on page 148 , but that was in April of 2004, not quite 20 years yet, and you, sir, didn't come into things until much, much later. Because we're all about the accuracy here at Terebinth !

The Daily Grind Table of Contents      Getting into the last two weeks of this storyline, let's talk a little bit about the next storyline. Because Doc and Alice get married during our 122nd storyline, " Nuptials ," remember? But with everything else that happened there, they haven't yet had a chance to go on their honeymoon.      So we'll be turning the narrative pen back over to Alice for a column she plans on submitting to her editor at the Gadsden Gazette's Sunday Magazine section. "Cheese or Honey?" she calls it, and in theory, it'll be kicking in here March 6th.

The Terebinth Story Archive      If anyone wants to go back and see Anson, Bert, and Sammy developing their plan, it pretty much starts on page 1,653 and more or less wraps up on page 1,670 . Because no plan worth the name ever really wraps up...

Folks Letting Me Blather

I've known Greta Boris :      For more then five years now but not as many as ten years, I think, ever since she joined the OC Fictionaires, the writing group that I've been a member of for something like twenty years. She writes mostly mystery novels, some of which are pretty funny, some of which are pretty suspenseful, and some of which are pretty much both at the same time. She and another author, Megan Haskell , also run a website called The Author Wheel where they do podcasts and offer writing courses and share their experiences with the wide world of publishing. As they put, "We've made the mistakes so you don't have to!"      As part of their podcast series, they wanted to talk about the value of critique groups, so Greta asked me if I'd be willing to make various noises on that topic. I agreed, and the episode they put together from our conversation, " Staying True to Your Creativity With Mike Payne ," is now available...

The Terebinth Story Archive      Because it's Esther, it's a triolet, of course.      As for Sean and Esther, we last checked in with them back on page 1,698 . And as for the joke here, I'm pretty sure I've used it before in these pages.      Let's call it recycling!
