Crown Moldering, Pg 6

The Daily Grind Table of Contents

They've got lots of languages in the Daily Grind universe, and each of them corresponds at least roughly to a language in our world. Manx, a rodenty, rabbitty sort of thing, is the equivalent of English, Cobraic is something like Cherokee, Canid is Latin, Batrach is ancient Greek, the Eastern insectoid language Pe Meng has echoes of Mandarin Chinese, and the last word in Howlett's sonnet here evidentally means that there's an analog for French, too. Maybe Stiriatian, the common language of the grazing herds on the plains of the Stiriat? Or maybe Muscan, the Western insectoid language? So many options!
