Yet Another Poem About Ants

Because you can never have:

     Too many poems about ants, here's one of mine called "All Work and No Play" that's up now on the Abyss & Apex website as part of their issue #98 for the second quarter of 2026.

     Taking the link in the preceeding paragraph or clicking on the picture at the start of this post will let you read the poem, or you can click the little widget below the full-size illustration on their website to hear me read the poem in a silly, ant-like voice. Then, at the bottom of the page after the printed poem, you can read the couple paragraphs where I lay out how I came to write the dang thing. So much going on!

Folks Letting Me Blather

I've known Greta Boris :      For more then five years now but not as many as ten years, I think, ever since she joined the OC Fictionaires, the writing group that I've been a member of for something like twenty years. She writes mostly mystery novels, some of which are pretty funny, some of which are pretty suspenseful, and some of which are pretty much both at the same time. She and another author, Megan Haskell , also run a website called The Author Wheel where they do podcasts and offer writing courses and share their experiences with the wide world of publishing.
