DeleteThan I probably should be, I was planning to take this story off in another direction entirely when I started the first draft of page 10 last week. But the instant Tamar looked over and met Ariadne's gaze, I threw out all my notes. Tamar's line at the bottom of that page was the only way this could go, I realized, and now here we all are! :)
